Football Recap: S & S Consolidated Takes a Loss

S & S Consolidated lost against Howe back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams were beaten by the Bulldogs 62-21. The Rams were down 49-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

When it comes to explaining why S & S Consolidated lost, don't look at Hunter Courville. Despite the final result, he threw for 72 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards.

S & S Consolidated now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Howe, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. S & S Consolidated will square off against rival Blue Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Howe is set to face off against their familiar foe Leonard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
