Cypress Lake benefitted from Smith in 12-2 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Leo Smith stepped things up a notch to give Cypress Lake the 'W'. Smith did his part (and then some), pitching three innings while giving up no earned run or hits for the 'W'.
Smith and Cypress Lake will head out on the road to challenge Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Smith has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 0.4 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Lemon Bay has only allowed six per game this season.
