If Fort Zumwalt East was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Orchard Farm on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the Howell Central Spartans on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Fort Zumwalt East now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Howell Central, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 30-3-2.

Fort Zumwalt East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howell Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Howell North on the 16th.
