Volleyball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ottawa Hills Green Bears, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Green Bears from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

Willa Rosene paced Delta's offense, picking up five kills. Rosene got some help from Ellie Martinez and her eight assists.

Leading Ottawa Hills to victory were Skylar Berenzweig and Brodi Kale. Berenzweig had 18 digs and four assists, while Kale had three digs and two aces. Berenzweig is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Ottawa Hills, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

As of now, neither Delta nor the Green Bears have any future games scheduled.
