Baseball Recap: Bowling Green Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bowling Green's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Maumee Panthers on Friday. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bowling Green dropped their record down to 7-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Maumee, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Coincidentally, Bowling Green and Maumee will both be playing Springfield the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bobcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
