Baseball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 25-1 to the Hill-Murray Pioneers. The Polars were not able to make up for their loss to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hill-Murray, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will welcome St. Thomas Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cadets' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Polars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hill-Murray, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mahtomedi at 4:30 p.m.
