Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The contest between the Petersburg Vikings and the Craig Panthers didn't end well, with the Petersburg Vikings falling 40-25. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 39-30 defeat back in January.

Petersburg's record now sits at 2-17. As for Craig, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Petersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Craig, they and Wrangell will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
