Volleyball Recap: Dunmore Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Dunmore and Lake-Lehman squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Dunmore had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Lake-Lehman Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

While Dunmore ultimately came up short, they really made Lake-Lehman work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-12, 25-11.

Amanda Dempsey paced Dunmore's offense, picking up ten kills. Dempsey got some help from Katelyn Henry and her 13 assists. Henry also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sophia Denunzio, racking up two apiece.
