Crown Point entered their tilt with Valparaiso on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Crown Point were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Maksim Tasevski, who's now up to two this season.
