It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Animo Venice had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They snuck past the Los Angeles Romans with a 52-47 win. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on three straight.

Animo Venice's record now sits at 16-12. As for Los Angeles, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Animo Venice will face off against Math & Science College Preparatory at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Math & Science College Preparatory's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
