Soccer Game Preview: Silverado vs. Granite Hills

The Silverado Hawks will challenge the Granite Hills Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silverado's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Granite Hills will have to contend with a Silverado squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since December 29. Silverado and Victor Valley finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills entered their tilt with Riverside Prep on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Silver Knights get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Granite Hills' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Riverside Prep are ranked 403rd).

Granite Hills' win bumped their record up to 10-3-3. Silverado's draw makes their record 6-9-2 this season.
