Soccer Recap: Coronado Gets the Win

While Coronado didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They won by a goal and slipped past the Ysleta Indians 2-1. That's two games straight that Coronado have won by just one goal.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Ysleta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Coronado will be playing in front of their home fans against Horizon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ysleta, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give Ysleta their first taste of in-conference action this season.
