Baseball Recap: Bonnabel Comes Up Short

Bonnabel came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Pearl River Rebels by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bruins have suffered since March 5th.

Bonnabel has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-14 record this season. As for Pearl River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13-1 record this season.

Bonnabel will head out to square off against Pope John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. Pearl River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
