Madison County won the last time they faced Hamilton County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Madison County Cowboys blew past the Hamilton County Trojans 19-4. With that win, the Cowboys brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Madison County let Eli Underhill and Alden Richie run wild. Underhill went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Richie scored three runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Richie a new career-high in doubles (two). Micah Newman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
