Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Takes a Loss

Bishop Miege lost against Lansing on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Stags fell 2-0 to the Lions.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19.

Liv Stevens paced Bishop Miege's offense, picking up eight kills. Stevens got some help from Maryn Dean and her 11 assists.

Lansing found their leader in freshman Avery Dessert, who had five digs and two aces.

Bishop Miege's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lansing, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Bishop Miege wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lee's Summit on the 27th. As for Lansing, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hayden on the 27th.
