Volleyball Recap: Fremont Firebirds vs. Irvington Vikings

After flying high against Aptos last Friday, Fremont came back down to earth. The Fremont Firebirds fell just short of the Irvington Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Firebirds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-18 in the first set.

Fremont took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-18, 17-25, 25-17, 16-14.
