Jackson had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They blew past the Louisville Leopards 3-0. The Polar Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Leopards, too.
While Jackson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.
Alex Pamboukis paced Jackson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pamboukis got some help from Gabe SCHMITT and his 27 assists. SCHMITT was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Jackson pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Louisville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
After both having extra time off, Jackson and Cleveland Heights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Polar Bears are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. Louisville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
