Volleyball Recap: West Rowan Has No Trouble Against High Point Central

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Rowan walked away with it. They put the hurt on the High Point Central Bison with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-7, 25-17.

Reese Poole was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Poole wasn't the only good servers: West Rowan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

West Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for High Point Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Coming up, West Rowan will venture away from home to challenge North Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. High Point Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
