Basketball Recap: Chapel Hill Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Chapel Hill was feeling good fresh off their 80-51 takedown of New Diana last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chapel Hill Red Devils fell 62-51 to the Daingerfield Tigers on Tuesday. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Chapel Hill's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7. As for Daingerfield, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Chapel Hill has already played their next match (against Hughes Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Daingerfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-62 loss against Jefferson on the 24th.
