Baseball Recap: Oroville Takes a Loss

Oroville fell victim to Las Plumas and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Thunderbirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Oroville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Morales, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Las Plumas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8-2.

While Oroville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
