Volleyball Game Preview: Sunnyside Wildcats vs. Fresno Warriors + Official Tickets

The Sunnyside Wildcats will head out to challenge the Fresno Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sunnyside lost 3-0 to Roosevelt on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Rough Riders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Fresno didn't have quite enough to beat Madera South on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Fresno sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-13.

Fresno's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19-1. As for Sunnyside, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18-2.

Sunnyside was able to grind out a solid victory over Fresno when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
