            Basketball Recap: Wilson Wildcats vs. Adams Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Wilson won the last time they faced Adams and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Wilson Wildcats really took it to the Adams Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up  a  52-18 victory. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  26-3.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilson to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Diana Jaimes, who  posted 15 points and seven  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Mia Yonker, who  had five  points along with six  boards and three  steals.
Wilson is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record  this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  three-point shooting accuracy: their  three-point shooting accuracy was 25.2% in those games and 21.8% outside of them. As for Adams,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-13.
 Wilson will head out on the road to  face off against  North Mesquite  at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. North Mesquite will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Wilson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Adams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Mesquite  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
