Softball Recap: Sale Creek Takes a Loss

Sale Creek had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 7-8-1 to make it four. They fell 5-2 to the Copper Basin Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sale Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalyn Hammons, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Hammons has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
