Baseball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was the 7-6 winner over O'Bannon when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Riverside fell just short of O'Bannon by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Riverside's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-7. As for O'Bannon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will venture away from home to take on Simmons at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for O'Bannon, they will head out to challenge Port Gibson at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
