After a string of three wins, Latin's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Romans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.
