Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

While Kennedy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the El Camino Eagles on Thursday as Kennedy made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on four straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

Hiram Garcia paced Kennedy's offense, picking up eight kills. Garcia got some help from Owen Yang and his 17 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Kennedy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for El Camino, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Antelope on the 18th. As for El Camino, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Rio Linda on the 17th.
