Football Recap: Watson Chapel Comes Up Short

The matchup between Watson Chapel and Crossett on Friday hardly resembled the 19-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 42-22. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Watson Chapel and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Crossett, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Watson Chapel will take on Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossett, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
