Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Triumphs

Spring Valley picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Orangeburg Prep Indians by a score of 2-0.

Ava Temoney paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Temoney got some help from Kennedy Newton and her nine assists. Temoney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-13-1. As for Orangeburg Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Spring Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on the 13th. As for Orangeburg Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 13th.
