Basketball Recap: Oaktree Academy Takes a Loss

If Oaktree Academy was feeling good fresh off their 61-32 takedown of Gateway Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oaktree Academy Grizzlies took a blow against the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors on Friday, falling 61-34. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

Norfolk Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Hines, who posted 14 points along with eight boards and four steals. Hines is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Amir Cutts, who had 13 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
