Monument Valley came tearing into  Monday's  match with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  a  14-6 margin over the Tuba City Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  14-13  on April 1st.
 Adrianna Dominguez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Meya-Raye Bahe was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Nannabah Haskan, who  went 3-for-5 with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Monument Valley was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .475. They are  a perfect 11-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Monument Valley's record is now 13-5. As for Tuba City,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-13.
 Coming up, Monument Valley will square off against Monticello at 1:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Tuba City, they will venture away from home to  face off against Northland Prep Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 10.3  runs per game this season.
