Basketball Recap: Knox Comes Up Short

Knox was the 47-34 winner over Boone Grove when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins fell 45-35 to the Wolves on Saturday. The game marked the Redskins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Boone Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Taylor led the charge by as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 11 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Taylor now owns an excellent 52.4% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Kinsey, who posted nine points.

Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Boone Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Knox will be playing in front of their home fans against LaVille at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boone Grove, they will venture away from home to face off against Hobart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
