Softball Recap: Central Noble Cougars vs. Bluffton Tigers
Central Noble won the last time they faced Bluffton, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Central Noble Cougars blew past the Bluffton Tigers 13-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Central Noble.
Central Noble got a big performance out of Haddi Hile, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Avery Deter, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
On Bluffton's side, Tressa Renner was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Central Noble now has a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Noble will challenge East Noble at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bluffton, they will head out on the road to take on Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluffton is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
