Basketball Recap: Lynn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lynn can now relate to. They were dealt a 49-21 defeat at the hands of the Brilliant Tigers on Tuesday. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

It was another big night for Hadlee Sanderson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Brilliant. What's more, Sanderson also racked up six blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Omary, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Lynn now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Brilliant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-11.

Lynn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brilliant, they will square off against Marion County at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Marion County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three games.
