It's playoff time, and Lakeshore had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Haven Rams a 9-0 shutout on Saturday. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 25 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Lakeshore, bringing their record up to 31-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Haven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Lakeshore will face off against Paw Paw at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
