Basketball Recap: Willard's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Willard had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 36-24 victory over the Glendale Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-42 back in December of 2024.

Willard's record now sits at 6-10. As for Glendale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Willard and Glendale should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Willard will take on Parkview at 5:45 p.m. on Monday up 310 places (149 vs. 459). Similarly, Glendale (ranked 160th) will meet Central (ranked 446th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
