Softball Recap: Weber Warriors vs. Syracuse Titans

Weber had lost seven straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-21 to make it eight. They lost 18-9 to the Syracuse Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-7 back in April.

Morgan Dixon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ari Hillan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for Syracuse, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-11. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Syracuse's side, Grace Thomas was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most hits Thomas has posted since back in April. Oaklee Derrickson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

As of now, neither Weber nor Syracuse have any future games scheduled.
