Brayden Salyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Avon's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Brownsburg, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.
