Volleyball Recap: Marin Catholic Takes a Loss

Marin Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Peregrine Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Marin Catholic was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Archie Williams work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 25-21.

Marin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Archie Williams, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-18.

Marin Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archie Williams, they are taking a road trip to square off against Tamalpais at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Tailed Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Peregrine Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
