Basketball Game Preview: Richland Rams vs. Bishop McCort Crushers

The Richland Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop McCort Crushers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Richland came up short against Penns Valley Area and fell 68-56. Richland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bishop McCort managed to keep up with Tyrone until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Bishop McCort lost 79-59 to Tyrone. The defeat continues a trend for the Crushers in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Bishop McCort's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Richland, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Richland came up short against Bishop McCort in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 47-40. Can Richland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
