There's no place like home for Veritas Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Flint Hills Christian Warriors on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-24, 30-28.

Veritas Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Flint Hills Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Veritas Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heartland at 7:00 p.m. on October 16. As for Flint Hills Christian, they will be playing at home against Northern Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
