Upton/Sundance not only got the result it was looking for last game, but the team outscored its opponent Southeast in every quarter. The final score between Upton/Sundance and Southeast was a 68 - 9 blowout in Upton/Sundance's favor. That 59-point margin marks the most Upton/Sundance has won by all season. The combined 77 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.
This Week's Big Showdown
One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Buffalo (4th in the power rankings) and Wheatland (18th). Buffalo took its game by a score of 24 - 14. The win boosted it a satisfying five spots in the power rankings.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Lander Valley (17th in the power rankings) and Douglas (11th). The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. Douglas and Lander Valley can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
