Softball Recap: Perry Central Commodores vs. North Harrison Cougars

Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the North Harrison Cougars. Perry Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Harrison apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.

Audra Harbaville made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Craney, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

On North Harrison's side, Kendall Christie made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. Christie was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Kendal Maher was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double. Gabby White was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
