Soccer Recap: Aquinas Comes Up Short

Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ontario Christian Knights, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1113th, while the Knights are ranked 532nd).

Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Ontario Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season.

Aquinas didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Arrowhead Christian on the 17th. As for Ontario Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Linfield Christian on the 17th.
