Duncanville (Texas) is adding four-star prospect and Arizona commitment
K.J. Lewis to the roster.
Lewis, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard, announced the news Wednesday via Twitter. As a junior at Chapin (El Paso), he averaged 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.2 assists per game for the Huskies, who went 31-5 and reached the regional finals of the Class 5A state tournament.
247Sports has Lewis pegged as a top 30 prospect in the Class of 2023 and the No. 3 shooting guard. He committed to Arizona in March over offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, Memphis, Texas, Texas Tech and UCLA among others.
The Panthers went 35-1 last season en route to their third consecutive Class 6A state title in Texas and were recognized as the MaxPreps National Champion.
