Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Saints vs. Denver West Cowboys + How To Watch

Jefferson is 0-5 against Denver West since August of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Saints will face off against the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Denver West took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Jefferson, who comes in off a win.

Jefferson took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Englewood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints won by a set and slipped past the Pirates 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Saints have posted since August 30th.

Jefferson wouldn't go down easily and took Englewood into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 23-25, 26-28, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Denver West lost 3-0 to Regis Groff on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Fusion: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Denver West, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Jefferson couldn't quite get it done against Denver West in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
