Volleyball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the Springfield Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-13.

Springfield can attribute much of their success to Emily Conner, who had eight digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Conner a new career-high.

McKinley's record now sits at 1-15. As for Springfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

McKinley has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Palestine on the 1st. As for Springfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Mineral Ridge on the 30th.
