Baseball Recap: Oktaha Find Success

While Oktaha's victory against Stroud wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Oktaha narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Stroud 8-6. Oktaha has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Stroud on Tuesday, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Oktaha and bumps their season record up to 7-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Stroud, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oktaha will challenge Coweta at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oktaha's pitchers better be ready for this one: Coweta has averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Stroud, they will take on Cashion at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
