Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Middletown Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Hamilton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Middletown Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-16, 25-20.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Middletown Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will welcome Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middletown Christian, they will host Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
