Volleyball Recap: Blackstone Valley RVT's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Blackstone Valley RVT had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Tri-County RVT Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Blackstone Valley RVT never let Tri-County RVT on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-14.

Madeline Flanagan paced Blackstone Valley RVT's offense, picking up 15 kills. Flanagan got some help from Franceska Malo and her 26 assists. Flanagan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Blackstone Valley RVT's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Tri-County RVT, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Blackstone Valley RVT will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Marlborough at 5:15 p.m. Tri-County RVT has already played their next match (against Bristol-Plymouth RVT), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
