Softball Recap: Calvary Christian Warriors vs. Lemont Lemont HS

After flying high against River Ridge last Tuesday, Calvary Christian came back down to earth. The Calvary Christian Warriors fell victim to a rough 12-4 loss at the hands of the Lemont Lemont HS on Thursday.

Morgen Talley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and a double. Another player making a difference was Irianis Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI.

On Lemont's side, they got a great performance from Sydney Kibbon as she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, Allison Pawlowicz was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Avaree Taylor was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.
